COVID-19 Protocols

Health Professions in Nova Scotia have COVID-19 prevention plans approved by the Chief Officer of Health for Nova Scotia.

Innate Movement follows all protocols outlined by the prevention plan approved for the profession of Massage Therapy.

Protocols include:

Pre-Appointment Screening

You will receive a COVID-19 screening questionnaire prior to your booked appointment. We ask that you fill this in before you arrive at the clinic.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unwell, please cancel your appointment.  For now, we are waiving our cancellation policy. You will not be billed for cancelling, even within 24 hours of your appointment time. Please also understand that your therapist will also cancel the appointment if they are unwell, and will reschedule at the earliest possible date.

Physical Distancing

Ensuring social distancing means directing patient flow as carefully as possible.  We are asking people to be punctual for appointments. In general, there will not be more than 2 people in the waiting area at once. We ask that you be mindful of others and respect physical distancing within the waiting area.

On Arrival

As you enter or exit the clinic, please use the hand sanitizer in the waiting room, or ask to use the washroom to wash your hands.

Masks and PPE

You and your therapist are required to wear a mask at all times during the appointment. If you forget your mask, your therapist can provide one for you. Your therapist thoroughly cleans the treatment table, chairs, etc after each patient, and washes their hands before and after each treatment.

Please note: your therapist is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
